Oleum enters West Africa as physical bunker supplier

New company was jointly founded by A/S Dan-Bunkering and Endofa DMCC.

New physical supply firm Oleum DWC-LLC has announced its entry into the West African bunker market as a supplier of intermediate fuel oil (IFO) and marine gas oil (MGO) off the West African coastline.

The company's main supply locations will be the offshore area between Abidjan and Lagos, and from Nigeria to Walvis Bay. 380 centistoke (cst), 180 cst and MGO will be available to clients.

"We will be operating a 'one-stop shop' and we have full control of the entire supply chain. Oleum will control every aspect of the operation, from the sourcing and loading of our cargo to the actual delivery to the end user. Cargo is directly sourced from oil majors and transported in major vetted tonnage to ensure that the quality will never be compromised," said Managing Director Allan Frost.

"At Oleum, we strongly believe in the concept of having full control of the supply chain, and we believe that there is a demand for a different approach to the West African physical supply market," the company added.

Oleum was jointly founded by marine fuels companies A/S Dan-Bunkering and Endofa DMCC, but will be operated as a fully independent entity.
