Russia: Fuel oil exports up in November

Exports of fuel oil rise by 8.8 percent in a comparison with the previous month.

Fuel oil export shipments from Russia rose by 8.8 percent in November in a comparison with the previous month, according to data provided by the Energy Ministry.

The increase was attributed mainly to a rise in supplies from Lukoil's Perm refinery and Rosneft's Angarsk and Komsomolsk plants.

Exports of gasoline declined by 3.5 percent in November month-on-month on the back of lower supplies from Rosneft's Angarsk and Orsk oil plants, despite an increase in supply from Gazpromneft's Omsk refinery.

November gas oil exports fell by 6.6 percent month-on-month. Rosneft's Novokuibyshevsk plant and Bashneft's Ufaneftehim refinery reduced export supplies by 7.8 and 31.4 percent respectively, whilst increasing their volumes in the domestic market.

Year-on-Year Export Data

Fuel oil exports climbed 10.2 percent in November in a comparison with the same month last year.

Gasoil exports were down by 7.3 percent versus November 2010. Gasoline exports declined by 27.3 percent on the back of protective export duty and higher local supplies.
