Universal named accredited supplier


MPA lists Universal Energy as an accredited bunker supplier in Singapore.

Singapore-based Universal Energy Pte Ltd. has been included in the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore(MPA)'s list of accredited bunker suppliers.

The company recently applied for a bunker supplier license after having previously been granted a bunker craft operators' license in Singapore.

The bunker craft operators' license allows a company to only transport marine fuel to vessels in Singapore. However, in order to supply bunker fuel to ships using its own delivery documents, a company requires a bunker supplier license.

Formed in 2006, Universal Oil has also managed the terminal operations of FSU, a floating storage facility located within the port of Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia.
