BIX average rises 5.8 percent in November


Average monthly global bunker price increases by $28.72 per tonne in November.

The average monthly Bunker Index(BIX) price rose by 5.8 percent during the month of November compared to the previous month, as bunker prices continued to rise for the fourth consecutive month.

The BIX rose by $28.72 to $557.19 per tonne in November, up from $528.57 per tonne the previous month. The increase represents the largest percentage rise since August when the average global bunker price rose 8.4 percent, or $40.41 to $523.07.
