Christiania Energy has appointed Mazlum Unutmaz as specialist, bunkers and lubricants, the Denmark-based bunker trading company announced on 30 May.

Unutmaz, who is based in Odense, will support colleague Ali Hoodaji in the company’s global bunker pool operations, among other responsibilities.

Unutmaz brings a background spanning logistics, military service, and sales and marketing — experience the company noted has given him adaptability and a practical understanding of different industries.

Those close to Unutmaz are said to describe him as loyal, ambitious and goal-oriented, with a disciplined mindset, while also being known for his positive energy and ability to create a good atmosphere within a team.
