Lloyd’s Register to host UK ETS and FuelEU Maritime briefing in London

Event on 12 May will examine maritime emissions regulations ahead of UK ETS expansion.

Lloyd’s Register will hold a briefing on the UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS) and FuelEU Maritime at its London headquarters on 12 May.

The event will run from 15:00 to 18:00 BST (2pm to 5pm GMT) at the Lloyd’s Register Building, 71 Fenchurch Street, and will focus on the UK ETS extension to shipping from 1 July.

Lloyd’s Register said the session will cover the latest developments shaping the emissions landscape, together with the commercial risks and opportunities facing the sector.

Francesco Sandrelli, policy director at the UK Chamber of Shipping, will also provide an industry view on the changing regulatory framework.
