Auramarine has announced a webinar on ammonia as a marine fuel, scheduled for 16 April at 10am EEST as part of its spring 2026 webinar series on alternative fuels.
The session will be presented by Carl-Mikael Wiklund, Senior R&D Engineer at Auramarine, who is set to share insights from his work on ammonia and other future marine fuels, including fuel supply system design, safety considerations and practical implementation in marine projects.
According to the company, the webinar will examine ammonia’s role in the future marine fuel mix, address key safety, regulatory and operational requirements, and show how an ammonia fuel supply system is designed.
The event forms the third part of Auramarine’s four-webinar spring programme, which also covers emissions compliance, methanol fuel supply solutions and biofuels.
Earlier sessions in the series included a webinar on EU and International Maritime Organization (IMO) emissions requirements and compliance strategies presented by Risto-Juhani Kariranta, CEO of Ahti Climate, and a session on methanol fuel supply systems led by Tuomas Häkkinen, Vice President, Sales projects, at Auramarine.
The final webinar in the series is due to take place on 7 May and will focus on biofuels, with Veikko Tuominen, Senior R&D Engineer at Auramarine, listed as speaker.
Registration for the upcoming ammonia webinar is available by clicking here.
Auramarine is based in Turku, Finland, and provides fuel supply systems for the marine sector.
