IBIA appoints Sommer Mitchell as marketing and events coordinator

Mitchell brings more than five years of experience to the marine fuels industry association.

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has appointed Sommer Mitchell as its new marketing and events coordinator.

Mitchell brings more than five years of experience to the role, together with a strong interest in creative marketing.

IBIA said she will focus on promoting the industry, strengthening connections between members and delivering effective communications.

The organisation added that Mitchell has a talent for designing meaningful and memorable events that encourage collaboration and engagement across the sector.

The appointment was announced by IBIA on 7 April.
