Turkish shipbuilder RMK Marine has launched the 125-metre chemical tanker T. Florya, which is being built for Ditaş Denizcilik.
The 12,000-deadweight-tonne (DWT) vessel was designed by Delta Marine and classed by DNV.
According to the yard, the vessel has been fitted with methanol-ready systems, supporting the possibility of future operation on alternative fuels.
Back in February, RMK Marine confirmed that the LNG bunkering vessel Celsius will be fitted with a gas combustion unit to support cool-down and gassing-up operations for LNG-fuelled and LNG-carrying ships.
Celsius is under construction for Swedish energy company Gasum together with shipping partner Sirius Shipping AB.
