Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN) launched a new brand identity on November 4, marking a refresh for the Hong Kong-based marine fuel supplier after more than three decades in the industry.

The company, founded in 1991, said the rebrand is centered on the concept of "continuous evolution" and aims to align its visual identity with its business strategy.

The new brand logo features bold 'CPN' lettering designed to resemble a shipping route. A blue upward arrow is said to represent progress and the firm's commitment to guiding customers towards sustainable fuel solutions.

CPN has adopted "MADE TO EVOLVE" as its new brand slogan. "This slogan highlights CPN's commitment to steady growth, demonstrating our market leadership through insight and action, helping partners overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and move towards a sustainable future," the company stated.

"We don't just follow the market; we proactively predict trends, plan ahead, and seize opportunities," commented Calvin Chung Dik-hong, Director and Deputy General Manager of CPN. "This rebranding aims to align our brand image with our core strengths: continuous evolution. We constantly transform and grow, and we are committed to growing together with our customers."

CPN outlined the company's mission as providing "efficient and reliable marine fuel solutions" through continuous innovation. Its stated vision is to become a preferred marine fuel partner globally, setting standards in efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.

The physical supplier and trader operates nine offices across eight countries and claims to be China's leading seller of marine biofuels. The firm delivered its first B24 biofuel supply in Hong Kong in August 2023 and has since expanded to B30 blends.

CPN also recently signed an agreement with the Hong Kong government's Transport and Logistics Bureau to support the development of green marine fuel bunkering and trading in the territory.

The firm has additionally partnered with Hong Kong and China Gas Company (Towngas) to develop green methanol marine fuel markets.
