Spain's CLH Group is to invest more than 60 million euros throughout 2013, which will be spent on continuing to expand and improve its infrastructure.

Around 41 million euros will be used to improve the company's storage facilities, 17 million of which will be invested in making safety and environmental improvements. Another significant part - over 15 million euros - will be spent on projects for operational improvements.

Other significant investments include around 4 million euros to complete the first phase of the project to build a new storage facility at the port of Bilbao. A further 2 million euros will be spent on completing the building works for the new facilities in Castellanos de Moriscos (Salamanca), and 3 million will be used to expand the storage capacity at other facilities.

As regards the transportation system, CLH will be investing around 15 million euros on extending its pipeline network. Over 5 million euros of this amount will be spent on continuing to build the line that will connect the storage facility in Torrejón de Ardoz with Madrid-Barajas airport.

CLH will devote over 4.5 million euros to expanding and improving a number of CLH Aviación facilities.

Over the last six years, CLH Group has implemented the most ambitious investment plan in its history, which amounts to more than 750 million euros and has made it possible for 1.2 million cubic metres of new storage capacity to be incorporated and for over 500 kilometres of pipeline to be built.

Among other courses of action, the company brought into service the new storage facilities in Arahal (Sevilla), Mahón (Minorca) and Burgos, and is currently completing the construction work on the new plants in Castellanos de Moriscos (Salamanca) and Almodóvar del Campo (Ciudad Real).
