Bunker Index MDO (BIX MDO)

Description:
Bunker Index MDO (BIX MDO) is the Average Global Bunker Price (AGBP) for all marine diesel oil (MDO) port prices published on the Bunker Index website. The BIX MDO is calculated by adding each individual daily MDO port assessment price and dividing by the number of prices.

Ports:
Marine fuel prices for the following ports around the world are used to calculate the BIX MDO: Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Buenos Aires, Busan, Campana, Ceuta, Copenhagen, Corpus Christi, Durban, Gdansk, Gibraltar, Gothenburg, Great Belt, Hamburg, Helsinki, Hualien, Kaohsiung, Keelung, Kiel, Las Palmas, Los Angeles, Montevideo, Montreal, New Orleans, New York, Port Kembla, Riga, Rosario, Rostock, Rostock roads, Rotterdam, San Francisco, San Lorenzo, San Nicolas, San Pedro, Seattle, St Petersburg, Suao, Taichung, Tallinn, Tokyo, Turku, Ulsan, Vancouver, Zarate, Zona Común.

Delivery Size:
Individual MDO port prices are calculated based on an average delivery size of 75 metric tonnes.
