Singapore 380-cst falls $34 in November


Monthly Singapore 380-cst average declines for the second consecutive month.

The average price of 380-centistoke (cst) fuel oil in Singapore decreased for the second consecutive month in November, according to Bunker Index price data.

The 380-cst average at the world's leading bunker port fell by $34 per tonne, or 5.3 percent, to $603 per tone this month, down from $637 per tonne in October.

It is the both the lowest monthly average and the largest price fall since June. It is also the most significant price change since August, when the 380-cst average rose by $51 to $658 per tonne.

During the month of November, the low-high price range - an indicator of intra-month volatility - was $30 with a low of $586 per tonne and a high of $616.00 per tonne. In a comparison with previous months, the $30 range was the narrowest since April, when the margin was only $29.00.
