Bunker firm launches Netherlands office


Experienced traders to head new office, which will be responsible for handling worldwide enquiries.



Switzerland-based bunker trader Petrol Bunkering & Trading PBT Ltd has announced the launch of its new office in Groningen, The Netherlands.

The company will be named Petrol Bunkering & Trading Netherlands BV, and will handle the group’s worldwide enquiries, in cooperation with its Hamburg subsidiary Petrol Bunkering & Trading Germany GmbH.

Ed Freese and Evert Elema, providing a combined experience of over 30 years in the bunker industry, will head the new office. Johan Bolhuis joins the company as a bunker trader.

Commenting on the launch, Rob Morelis, president, said: “With the expansion into The Netherlands, the group will establish a solid presence in the ARA region. We are looking forward to serve our customers even better, by adding extensive knowledge and experience to our portfolio of services”.
