Sahar Zarghamian rejoins OW Bunker after working for futures and options brokerage.

OW Bunker has announced the appointment of Sahar Zarghamian as bunker trader at its office in Dubai.

Ms Zarghamian is rejoining OW Bunker Middle East, after spending six months working as an oil broker for Daman Quattro Ltd, a futures and options execution brokerage based in Dubai, between June and November 2011.

Prior to joining Daman Quattro, Ms Zarghamian had worked for OW Bunker as a bunker trader for three years - from February 2008 until 2011.

Commenting on the appointment, Jesper Jervild, OW Bunker’s Regional Manager for the Middle East and South Africa, said: "Strategically, Fujariah is a very important area of operation, as one of the world’s top three bunkering hubs and a rapidly expanding port. Having highly trained staff with a forensic knowledge of local operations, and important local business relationships is critically important to our continued success.

"With a global presence, influential local business partnerships and a strong financial backing, our team are able to provide customers with competitive prices and tailored bunkering and risk management solutions that meet the precise needs of their businesses and operations. We have experienced significant growth in the Middle East in the past year and I am confident that Sahar Zarghamian will play an important role in contributing to our continued development."
