BIX price average dips in May


Average monthly global bunker price records a small decline during the month of May.

The average monthly Bunker Index (BIX) price dropped by only -0.58 per tonne during the month of May compared to the previous month, according to latest Bunker Index price data.

The BIX global monthly average decreased to $591.09 per tonne in May, down from $591.67 per tonne the previous month.
