Long Beach RFP to develop liquid bulk terminal


Californian port issues amended proposal for the development of a marine liquid bulk terminal.



The Port of Long Beach is seeking proposals for the development of a marine liquid bulk petroleum products, crude oil and renewable fuels terminal located at Berth T-126, also known as Pier Echo.

The port is inviting proposals from parties interested in developing the 22-acre site for that use.

The new Request for Proposal (RFP), posted by the Port of Long Beach on May 21st, is an amended version of one issued earlier this year for a Marine Liquid Bulk Petroleum Products and Renewable Fuels Terminal at T-126. The RFP has been amended to include crude oil in addition to petroleum products and renewable fuels.

The new deadline to submit proposals is August 27th 2010, 4.30 pm, from the earlier submission date of May 28th 2010, 4.30 pm.
