International Bunker Industry Association reveals names of new board members.

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has revealed the names of the new IBIA Board members following the conclusion of its election process, which commenced on January 8th.

The three nominees who were originally selected by the Board Development Committee (BDC) as being best able to fulfil the current requirements of the Board were all chosen to fill the three vacancies on the 12-person board.

The three new board members are:

Jens Maul Jorgensen, Bunker Department Director at Oldendorf Carriers, Germany;

Dilip Mody of Global Fuels and Lubricants, India; and

Simon Neo Tiau Gee, Deputy Managing Director of Equatorial Marine Fuel Management Services Pte. Ltd., Singapore.

Don Gregory, Director of the Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems Association (EGCSA) and former IBIA Chairman had also stood for election despite not having been officially recommended by the Board Development Committee.

The results of the election were announced in time for the Annual General Meeting, which took place at The Naval Club, London on February 15th, on the same day as the 16th Annual IBIA Dinner.
