Oceanconnect to become ConocoPhillips agent


Oceanconnect UK to be named an authorised marine agent of ConocoPhillips from February 1st.



OceanConnect UK Ltd. is set to become an authorised marine agent of UK physical bunker supplier ConocoPhillips Ltd. from February 1st 2010.

The new tie-up is seen as Oceanconnect's next step in the expansion of its marine fuels business in the UK, where it plans to develop new areas through its alliance with ConocoPhillips.

Commenting on the new arrangement, Chris Todd, who manages OceanConnect's office in Hull with Steven Wilson, said: ‘We feel that with our experience and knowledge of the UK market, we can develop areas with ConocoPhillips that haven’t been explored."

ConocoPhillips has been a premier marine fuels supplier throughout the UK for over thirty years. The company supplies in a number of UK port locations in the following regions:
