Tsakos Energy Navigation joins SEAaT


Shipping firm becomes official member of association dedicated to emissions abatement and trading,



SEAaT, the industry association dedicated to shipping emissions abatement and trading, has today announced that Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN), one of the world’s leading ship owners and transportation companies, has become an official member of the association.

John Aitken, Secretary General, SEAaT, said: “I am delighted that Tsakos Energy Navigation has joined SEAaT, showing its commitment to helping drive the environmental change that is necessary within shipping.

"Their knowledge and understanding of the industry and their understanding of the Greek shipping community will be invaluable in helping to promote the clear benefits of emissions trading, and highlighting the opportunities that exist in the development of abatement technologies as a means of driving both environmental and operational efficiencies.”
