Gulf Oil signs agreement with Delek Lubricants

Sealub Alliance extends coverage through deal with Israel-based lubricants firm.

Gulf Oil Marine Ltd. has signed a partnership agreement with Israel based Delek Lubricants-Delkol for the manufacture and supply of marine lubricant products and services within the Sealub Alliance network.

“Following our recent partnership with Prista Oil, this marine agreement with Delek Lubricants is offering Sealub Alliance customers a step-up of our network allowing geographical coverage deliveries of high technology marine lubricants and technical services in Israeli ports, cashing in on the professionalism of a dedicated team and superb quality production center and logistics platform in Israel,” said Caroline Huot, CEO & Managing Director of Gulf Oil Marine.

“It is definitely a new and strong step ahead for Gulf Oil Marine and Sealub Alliance in our long term supply strategy to serve the Shipping Industry," Huot added.

In February 2009 Gulf Oil entered into a strategic partnership with Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc. for the global distribution of marine lubricants.

The strategic partnership between the two companies led to a significant extension of the Sealub Alliance network to more than 450 ports in 40 countries.

Earlier this month, the Sealub Alliance expanded its coverage to more than 700 ports in 50 countries with the addition of Prista Oil Holding. Bulgarian-headquartered Prista will have exclusive rights to produce and supply Sealub Alliance marine lubricant products and services in Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania and Turkey.

“This marine partnership with Prista Oil in the strategic area of the Black Sea, combined with our other partnership with Transoil for Russia and Ukraine, is offering Sealub Alliance customers a unique geographical coverage,” said Caroline Huot.
