Dan-Bunkering reveals new company structure

Danish firm says new structure has been established to foster further growth.

A/S Dan-Bunkering Ltd. – one of the world’s leading suppliers of bunker fuel, lubricants and related products for vessels – has announced the introduction of a new company and management structure.

In a statement released today, the company said "Although already a market leader, Dan-Bunkering does not wish to slow down the progress of development and growth, hence a clearer, straightforward company structure has been established in order to foster and encourage the further development of the company as well as an even closer relationship with clients and suppliers."

The new structure, established at the start of May 2009, aims to provide a simplified means of communication together with a reduction of intermediaries – "an approach which without doubt will make things easier for everyone within the company", Dan-Bunkering said.

New Managing Director, Henrik Zederkof explained “In a world and industry constantly in progress and changing, a company needs to be adaptable. Our redesign of the company structure makes us even more flexible and resourceful”.

Apart from Henrik Zederkof, the new management in Dan-Bunkering consists of: Claus Bulch Klausen, Sales Manager for the Copenhagen office, Søren Lund, Financial Manager and Søren Høll as International Sales Manager for Singapore, Shanghai and Kaliningrad offices.

Dan-Bunkering is part of A/S United Shipping & Trading Company Group, owned by Torben Østergaard-Nielsen.

The company's headquarters are located in Middelfart, Denmark with additional offices in Kaliningrad, Shanghai, Copenhagen and Singapore.
