Global Risk Management announces new hire

Camilla Skovsbo Erichsen joins head office as management assistant.

Global Risk Management has announced the appointment of Camilla Skovsbo Erichsen as management assistant at its head office in Denmark.

Erichsen, aged 34, was previously employed as project consultant at Denmark's Sydbank. She is a CFA charterholder, has a master's degree in economics and has several years' experience within the financial markets both as a senior analyst and portfolio manager.

In her new position as management assistant, Erichsen will be tasked with implementing management overview tools and reports as well as focusing on strategy development together with the management team at Global Risk Management.

Managing director, Hans Erik Christensen, remarked: "Camilla is highly skilled and has in-depth knowledge of our line of business and I am confident that she will be a huge asset to our company and our management team."

As Bunker Index previously reported, Global Risk Management achieved its best ever earnings before tax figure of $12.03 million during the 2016-2017 financial year - surpassing the previous year's result of $6.85 million by 75 percent.

Business volume during the 12-month period, which runs up until April 30, rose by 100 percent year-on-year.

Speaking at the time, Christensen explained that "consolidation of the teams - adding more skilled employees and building a sense of unity" had helped the company achieve growth.
