Monjasa trainees graduate from Danish Shipping Academy

Bunker trainees complete the Commercial Shipping Programme.

Bunker firm Monjasa has announced the graduation of four trainees from the Danish Shipping Academy (DSA).

Bunker trading and operator trainees Nicklas Berg, Daniel Lind, Mathias Buch, and Mathias Bjarnhoff have all completed the DSA's Commercial Shipping Programme.

The two-year programme involved switching between on-the-job training at Monjasa and education at the DSA.

According to the DSA, the Commercial Shipping Programme includes three courses in Denmark where trainees from various shipping companies are taught together. Between these courses, they also undergo training via e-learning.

Other companies with trainees on the DSA's Commercial Shipping Programme include bunker company Dan-Bunkering, Clipper, DFDS Seaways, Evergas, J. Lauritzen, Maersk Supply Service, Norden, Nordic Tankers, Torm, Ultrabulk and Ultragas.

According to the DSA, most of the 24 companies affiliated with the programme will be taking on shipping trainees between August and September 2017. A full list of the companies can be found by clicking on the link below.
