Addax upgrades bunker fleet


Offshore bunker specialist upgrades tankers with two new vessels



Offshore bunker supplier Addax Bunkering Services (ABS) has announced that it is continuing with its fleet replacement programme with the addition of two new vessels, and two more on the way.

The Geneva-based firm, which offers bunker supply services to customers along the West African coast and in the North Atlantic, has added the 7,500 deadweight tonne (dwt) Anuket Ruby and the 9,500 dwt Anuket Topaz to its fleet of vessels.

Both vessels are currently operating off the coast of West Africa. The company supplies marine fuel and lubricants to clients in a number of locations including Offshore Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Mauritania, Namibia, Nigeria and Senegal.

Addax previously announced that it had received delivery of two other newbuildings, the Anuket Jade and Anuket Emerald.

The company is also set to receive two additional bunker vessels before the end of the year.
