Singapore MGO vs ICE Gas Oil


Analysis of Singapore marine gas oil and ICE Gas Oil prices.



The average price of marine gas oil (MGO) at the port of Singapore decreased at a smaller rate than ICE Gas Oil in the month of May, according to Bunker Index price data.

The ICE Gas Oil settlement average fell by $4.98 per tonne, or 0.58 percent, to $859.74 per tonne in the month of May. During the same period, the Singapore MGO average decreased by $1.00 per tonne, or 0.23 percent, to $856 per tonne.

Between May 2012 and May 2013, the monthly MGO average in Singapore declined by $73.24 per tonne, or 7.9 percent, whilst the ICE Gas Oil settlement average decreased by $69 per tonne, or 7.5 percent.
