Singapore's onshore stocks of residues rose for the second consecutive week to a nine-week high during the seven days up to Wednesday, May 8, according to data released by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore - an agency operating under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Stockpiles of residues, a category which includes fuel oil and low-sulphur waxy residue and excludes bitumen, increased by 1.2 million barrels, or 6.5 percent, to 19.7 million barrels.

It is the highest inventory level since the week ended March 6 and means that stocks have jumped 3.2 million barrels, or 19.4 percent, in just two weeks.
