VTTI and Cattalini to study oil terminal construction in Brazil


Agreement signed to study the feasibility of building and operating a crude oil storage terminal in Brazil.



VTTI and Brazilian tank terminal operator Cattalini Terminais Maritimos S.A have signed a strategic agreement to jointly study opportunities to build and operate an independent crude oil storage terminal in Brazil.

Under the strategic Joint Collaboration Agreement (JCA), the companies will combine their expertise, know-how, networks, leads and capabilities to jointly identify and develop the project.

Cattalini operates terminals located in the port of Paranagua and has proven experience in the safe handling of bulk liquids, including vegetable oils, chemicals and fuel. It also owns and operates the largest private liquid campus in Brazil, providing 380,000 cubic meters of storage capacity in 97 tanks.
