Singapore's onshore stocks of residues fell to a five-month low during the seven days up to Wednesday, January 23, according to data released by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore - an agency operating under the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Stockpiles of residues, a category which includes fuel oil and low-sulphur waxy residue and excludes bitumen, decreased by approximately 0.8 million barrels to 17.6 million barrels, down from 18.4 million barrels the previous week.

It is the lowest weekly inventory figure since August 29, when stocks rose by 1.020 million barrels to 17.3 million barrels. It also means that stock levels have declined in six out of the last seven weeks since reaching a five-month high of 23 million barrels on December 5.
